We've worked with Shirley twice for new construction and existing home, one in 2018 and the other in 2020. Shirley has been wonderful to work  and really took care of us. She is took care of everything,  knew the process and who to call.  When doing negotiations,  she fought for us while also analyzing the reality of what we asking and provided her honest opinion on it. She was great with our three kids and had no problem watching them while we toured the house for showings. Shirley made the home buying and selling process EASY. She is amazing. Hands down incredible. As a foreigner, buying a home can't be easy. But Shirley helped me a lot during this process, including searching for a candidate, showing me around, explaining hidden information I am not familiar with and the details of the documents! As for the difficulties during this process, to be honest, we didn't meet with much. The only problem was also resolved by her generosity. She even brought me a gift at closing! I swear all the comments you can see here, not only from me but the others, are the truth. We happened to meet a family that Shirley worked with before. They were so happy when they saw Shirley. I worked with Shirley to buy a house in State College. I was also juggling selling my old out of state house and living in a temporary location! From our first conversation she was amazing. Very personal, knowledgeable, and available. I could only look at houses after work and she was always willing to work with my schedule. I was already busy with a new job,selling my other house, and adjusting to live in PA and she made this process so easy for me. I trusted her to know and understand my needs and only show me houses that fit those and she did that and more. She was patient with my timeline(had to sell my old house first) and never ever pushy. She wanted me to find the house that was right for me. Once she found me the house I ended up buying, her wide network and knowledge of the area helped a lot. She knew who to call for the financing, inspections(which I got a discount on because of her) etc.  Overall, I am fortunate that I went with Shirley during that stressful time in my life because she made the whole thing easy and stress free. When I go to sell or buy again I will be calling her and you should too!

Shirley was an outstanding real estate agent to work with. I had been in the market for a home in Centre County for several years and worked with many different agents, but in only the 2nd day of working with Shirley I found the perfect home that totally suited my needs. Note: the other agents were for the most part very good as well; it's just that Shirley immediately alerted me to the availability of my new home and was most accommodating in arranging a visit that very day and arranging an offer that very evening. She also warned me about wire fraud scams when it came time to send in my down payment.  I recommend her very highly to prospective home buyers in the area.

I give Shirley Dunlap at Remax 10 million stars for all her help with selling my home!Shirley went way out of her way several times during the process.She even came to my house with her husband because I needed a person who would know how to take the wall down that was covering my hot water heater because the buyers people needed pictures of my hot water heater and Shirley took all the pictures and she drove out of her way another time to come to my house to help me find metal plates with important numbers on them that identified my home as HUD approved.She found a lady to prop and decorate my home and also set me up with a place to come and install all new floors and carpet in my house so it would look nice to all the prospective buyers.Shirley went out of her way for me more times than I can count.Selling my home was a very emotional experience and Shirley was always there for me by phone and emails (holding my hand and telling me that everything was going to be ok) Shirley went way above and beyond what other people would have done to help me and keep me calm while I was going through this process.I will never forget you Shirley!
