STATE COLLEGE — REMAX Centre Realty is proud to announce that Realtor® Ciara Halloran has been appointed to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Board of Directors, bringing her local and international real estate experience to one of the most influential real estate boards in the world.

Representing Realtors® on the national level

The National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors serves as the association’s strategic governing body, representing the diverse interests and practices of its more than one million members.

As a Director, Halloran will help guide NAR’s big-picture goals, strategy and governance while representing the interests of Realtors® and the real estate industry. The Board is responsible for important association matters, including establishing public policy positions, approving member programs and services, overseeing expenditures and membership dues, and addressing issues affecting NAR members and the industry.

Directors also serve as a connection between NAR and the members they represent, bringing forward matters of concern and communicating the association’s actions and priorities back to their constituents.

Local leadership in State College and Centre County real estate

Halloran is a member of The Steven Bodner Team at REMAX Centre Realty, and currently serves as the 2026 Vice President of the Centre County Association of Realtors®. Her leadership extends well beyond the local real estate market, with extensive involvement in international real estate initiatives and organizations.

She serves as an ambassador for the Global Data Exchange (GDX) and International MLS Forum (IMLSF), representing South Africa. Halloran is also a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and Global Real Estate Advisor, credentials that reflect her experience working within the international real estate community.

Her industry accomplishments also include being a two-time recipient of the NAR Excellence Award.
